Message from the Founder/Executive Director
Twenty five years ago when I began working at Hope Home Care Inc. in an effort to assist my mother Jean V. Alexander, our goal was to care for the elderly and sick in their home. Her God-given mission was to help the most vulnerable in our community.
As time went on, it became increasingly evident to me that our efforts were only addressing a fraction of the mission that we set out to accomplish. We were making a positive impact, no doubt, but there were still many vulnerable individuals within our community who were being left behind; their needs unmet and their voices unheard. It was clear that there was a significant gap in the services we were providing.
Motivated by a deep sense of compassion and a burning desire to make a difference in the lives of those often overlooked, I knew that something had to done. It was at this crucial juncture that the idea for the Center for Hope SI began to take shape. Our aim was to bridge the divide and extend our reach to encompass the other marginalized groups who had previously been left unsupported.
As we continue to grow and evolve, our commitment will remain steadfast. We are always adapting our services, seeking innovative solutions, and actively engaging with the community to ensure our efforts are impactful and sustainable.
