Community Giveaway

Day of Love for Older Adults

On November 14th, we will be hosting a special event called “Breaking Bread and Building Bonds” at Historic Richmond Town in collaboration with Non-Profit Staten Island. This initiative is sponsored by Mayor Eric Adams and aims to bring the community together around a shared meal and foster connections.

Our event will be unique; it will gather executives and front-line workers from various service-based and grassroots non-profit organizations. The purpose is to facilitate meaningful conversations about how we can collectively better serve our community.

We believe that as key contributors, we non-profits are the lifeblood of our community. Therefore, we would be honored to have you join us and participate in this enriching experience.

This event is not only exclusive to the executive staff, but also open to frontline staff. It will provide an invaluable opportunity for those who directly interact with the people they serve to engage with like-minded peers. Our aim is to create a collaborative space where attendees can share best practices, address common challenges, and cultivate innovative solutions.

Additionally, we will bring together service-based and grassroots nonprofits, fostering an environment where they can learn from one another and gain insight into the diverse range of services available to their respective communities. Service-based nonprofits will have the chance to establish meaningful relationships with organizations that have a tangible impact on the ground.

Imagine a room brimming with passionate individuals, united in their dedication to serving others. Join us as we forge connections, discuss insightful topics, and indulge in delectable food. Let us stand together in unity, working towards building stronger communities. We eagerly await your presence at this enriching event!
